A MAN was able to rescue his wife, her sister, and others from a candle factory that got crushed when tornados tore through Kentucky last week.

Brian Brooks, an MMA fighter, said he was at home on Friday night with his daughter and granddaughter when he got a call from his wife saying she was trapped.

Tornados had torn through the area while Brooks and his daughter and granddaughter hid in their home, he told Fox News.

After he got the call, he jumped into his truck and headed over to the candle factory to try to rescue the rest of his family.

“It’s a miracle I even found them. I don’t know how it happened,” he told the outlet.

Dozens of tornados tore through four states over the weekend leaving utter devastation in their path, particularly in Kentucky where at least 74 people are confirmed dead.

Brooks said that when he got to the candle factory, the building was flattened and he could hear people screaming.

“It was like the worst war movie you see on TV. The people that were screaming that you could not see in the dark,” he said.

He told the outlet that he began climbing through the rubble trying to find people, “just helping everybody I could.”

He was eventually spotted by his sister-in-law, who was crushed under the rubble with his wife. He said that she noticed the “crazy shoes” he was wearing and started hollering.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God,’ and started trying to pull,” Brooks said.

With the help of some nearby officers who had a crowbar, Brooks was able to help his sister-in-law and wife get out of the rubble.

The pair were taken to the hospital for a few days and were released Monday, Brooks said.

He said they were “a little banged up, bruised, sore and just a lot of heartache.”

“They didn’t think they were ever going to see us again,” he added.

“I’m so grateful … I just want to say my prayers for everybody who wasn’t so lucky.”

DEVASTATION IN KENTUCKY

A total of eight people were confirmed to have died at the factory after the tornados tore through the building.

During a visit to Kentucky on Wednesday, President Joe Biden promised the federal government would completely cover recovery costs over the next month.

“We’re going to make sure you have all the help you need,” he promised.

Thousands of Americans are still living without power, heat, or water days after 30 tornados ripped through four states.

At least 88 people have been confirmed dead thus far.
